Peter Imray

Peter has taught children, young people, and adults with special educational needs since 1986, mainly at The Bridge School in Islington, working across ages 2–19 and a wide range of learning difficulties, including PMLD, SLD, MLD, and autism. He has held senior roles including Head of PMLD and Head of Secondary, and later led the school’s Training and Consultancy Centre before moving into freelance work in 2012, focusing on curriculum development and teacher coaching with schools across the UK.

He also works closely with Equals, serving as a trustee since 2010 and Developments Director since 2016, and is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, with additional lecturing at Roehampton University.
