The Pre-Formal curriculum has been written specifically for learners of all ages (that is, 2 to 92) with PMLD, recognising that such learners may be the very hardest to reach and teach, and therefore require a highly specialised and individualised curriculum model.
It is entirely process based, concerning itself with the process of communication, cognition, sensory awareness, self-determination, physical well-being and creative exploration
